The story of Bone growing up poor in Greenville will reverberate – you’ll know the people, the places. IMHO, this novel — although certainly tragic and sad — is the most moving book ever written by a GVL native. Gritty, heart-breaking, and defiant. One of my favs of ALL TIME.
