Author of, What To Do When It Is Not Okay- A Gentle Book On Childhood Blues, Andrea Coates gets her inspiration from her many years of teaching in elementary schools and working with children through middle school. Through her books, Andrea’s goal is to empower children to find their strength, confidence, and inner awesomeness located inside of them. Her powerful messages include embracing all diversities and cultures and spreading kindness and appreciation. It is never too early to learn about loving yourself and being proud of who you are.
Andrea Coates lives in Greenville, South Carolina. She lives with her two adventurous children, three dogs, and wonderful husband. Traveling, visiting family, and participating in the many activities in her downtown area, are just a few favorite things to do with family.
