Sit Down Supper with Chris Pavone
We are incredibly excited to start back one of the first events we ever did at the bookstore: the Sunday Sit Down Supper.
On a slow Sunday evening, we close up the store and set a long table right in the center of the bookstore floor, tucked between the shelves. Think china, think candles, think flowers and wine and plates of good food.
Then we add an author, our special guest for the evening. This time, we’ll be hosting New York Times bestselling writer Chris Pavone, in honor of his brand new international thriller, TWO NIGHTS IN LISBON.
Next comes the chef, and a very special chef at that. Our very own Teryi Youngblood Musolf, who was our first Sit Down Supper chef EVER! She’ll be serving up a four course meal inspired by TWO NIGHTS IN LISBON.
As for the libations, we’ve talked to our friends at Mission Grape Co. about some fabulous wine pairings for the night. Everything you eat and drink at this exclusive dinner party is tailored to the book you get to take home with you, so between the talents of Chris, Teryi, and really good wine, you can expect an evening of pure magic.
All we need to add is you.
Tautly wound and expertly crafted, Two Nights in Lisbon is a riveting thriller about a woman under pressure, and how far she will go when everything is on the line.
“I defy anyone to read the first twenty pages of this breakneck novel, then try to put it down for five minutes. This is smart suspense at its very best.”— John Grisham
With sparkling prose and razor-sharp insights, bestselling author Chris Pavone delivers a stunning and sophisticated international thriller that will linger long after the surprising final page.
