A Summer Reading Challenge from M. Judson
Those of us of a certain age might recall the glory days of summer reading at the library. For every title you finished, you’d get a star on your badge. When you earned all your stars, you got a personal pan pizza, a prize that could not have been more random or more exciting. (Personal size pizzas were new once!) We’ve missed those, too.
Swing by the store for your own READ IT! badge. They’re available free at the register. Then every time you finish a book, stop in and tell a bookseller about it. Any one of us. Tell us what you loved(or didn’t love) about whatever you’ve just finished, and we’ll give you a gold star. Earn six gold stars between June 15 and July 31, and you can turn in your badge for a free personal pizza, made by the chefs in Camilla Kitchen. Open to readers of all ages.
Pizzas will be available on August 1. Badges will be available starting June 15.
