Z. H. Columbia (Zac) has loved wooly worms since he first saw them scrunching along as a child. By the time he was 12, his young cousins were regularly asking him for bedtime stories. Upon realizing how much he enjoyed storytelling, he took a No. 2 pencil to his school notebook and began writing down his ideas at every opportunity. Zac met his wife, now illustrator, in high school and discovered they shared a passion for all things fuzzy and cute. During college, he wrote his first book about wooly worms and knew immediately it would be part of a series all about wooly worms and their fuzzy adventures. Zac hopes readers will fall in love with The Fuzzy Forest and the woolies who live there, just like he and his wife have.
